Meltdown

It had been a week since he swapped bodies with Amber in the college science center -- a freak accident that a few graduate researchers were still trying to rectify. Amber had adapted well, but Doug less so. He was often having small panic attacks and mild freakouts. Then when he was walking on the quad, he started to have a major meltdown. It wasn't just that he saw Amber in his body. It was that he saw Amber in his body kissing Dawn. He had a crush on Dawn, but he always assumed she was out f his league. Not only was Amber living his life; she was fulfilling his dreams. Yet he didn't get to experience any of them. He was stuck; stuck in Amber's body instead. He held his temples; he began to cry.
