"Hey, Amber, it's me Kelly. Ready for the kickball game tomorrow?"
Amber looked confused, "Yeah, of course, but what's with the winking?"
Kelly pulled Amber aside and whispered into her ear, "Because I'm not actually Kelly. I'm actually your boyfriend, Chuck. I used a device to swap bodies with Kelly for the weekend. I know how you've been complaining about how she's the weak spot on your team. With me in her place you actually stand a chance of winning this weekend."
Amber was a little dumbfounded, "I appreciate it, but swapping bodies with someone seems a little...extreme. And how in the world did you even find a device that can swap people's bodies?"

Drinking
Drinking always seemed like a good solution to a stressful situation. That was Neil's thoughts on life. So when the Great Shift struck and he found himself with a woman's body, he headed straight to the nearest bar and ordered a beer. The alcohol's effects seemed to work quicker than usual, and he was happy to experience the familiar feeling of being drunk as the unfamiliar feelings of a new body faded to the back of his mind. Without even thinking about it, he found himself flirting a little bit. When a man suggested that they go to a room in order for Neil to truly experience the joys of being a woman, Neil couldn't help but laugh. There was no way he was doing that tonight.

Four
The four friends were sitting around a table when it suddenly happened without warning; they all swapped bodies. Allison was in Kevin's body, Kevin was in Brie's body, Brie was in Rohan's body, and Rohan was in Allison's body. They all reacted with shock and surprise. It didn't take long for them to discover they weren't the only ones. It seemed everyone in the world had swapped bodies with someone else, though that was of little comfort as they each dealt with the unfamiliar feelings of a new body...

Get Used to It
"Okay, I get it. Thank to the Great Shift, I have your body," Mike said, "I'm willing to keep it in shape with your exercise routine, but after the gym time, the run, and now these jumping jacks...we've been doing this for an hour now, how much longer does this go on each day?"
"This is just the beginning," Jenny replied, "We've got two more hours to go! You've got to keep my body in shape! And I need to make this new body I got stays in shape as well!"
"Are you kidding me? Two more hours! I won't last!"
"You'll be surprised. You have my body now, remember? It's used to it..."

Every Morning
"You know," Diane sighed, "You are going to eventually have to learn how to do this for yourself. I can't help you with your hair every morning."
"I could just cut it off," Lawrence replied.
"You are NOT cutting my hair off."
"Well, then, I guess until they find a way to reverse this Great Shift thing and get everyone back to their own bodies, you are stuck doing my hair every morning..."

Easy Job
When Nathan was given the opportunity to steal someone else's life, he considered it based on occupation. He wanted an easy job. Celebrities might be rich, but he was sure he didn't have the talent to be an actor or musician. He knew he couldn't deal with the stress of being a CEO. Ultimately, he settled on the idea of being a model. How tough could it be? It was walking and posing. He was pretty sure most famous models were women, but he couldn't imagine that would be a big deal. He wasn't even in his new body for a few hours when he was scheduled to walk in a runway show. He didn't think much of it as they slapped tall heels on his feet. But he was halfway down the runway when he found himself toppling over. He tried to smile and cope as best he could. But maybe there was a bit more to this walking and posing thing than he had thought about. Of course, it was all too late to take it back; he'd have to learn.

Successful
Oscar couldn't believe his invention had actually worked! He now had a device that could actually swap people's bodies. Well, at least he did. The device seemed to be smoking a little; it was probably more than a little fried. He needed to examine it. Emily handed him his glasses, and he promptly put them on. The device had not only swapped his brain and hers, but many of the nerves as well, including those in the ocular region. He was also a bit surprised that Emily had volunteered to test the device with him. He didn't like stereotyping people, but she seemed like one of those "bad girls," a thought reinforced when he noticed her light a cigarette and take a drag with his body. Still, regardless of circumstances, he wasn't going to look down on a successful test. But judging from the extent of the damage he now was able to see with the device, it was going to be a long time before they could swap back. Being stuck in Emily's body for so long concerned him, but not as much as what it meant for her to be stuck in his for that same amount of time...

Mom
Jack still couldn't believe this. His mom had stolen his body! He was young, in his 30s, the prime of his life. Meanwhile, his mom had been going through menopause. Well, he guessed he was the one going through that now. He felt so uncomfortable. He was so pissed at his mom. He couldn't believe that she could ever do this to him? How could any mother do this to their son?

The Boss
Josh kicked his feet up on the desk and dialed into the conference call. He'd just been listening for the past hour as people discussed projections and earnings per share. It was all pretty boring stuff, but it wasn't particularly difficult to just sit there and listen. In fact, that'd pretty much all he's done since swapping bodies with his boss. It seemed like the easiest job in the world with much better pay than his own position on the factory floor.
Then in the final minutes of the call he heard his boss's name. He put the phone off mute to acknowledge. The person on the other end started rattling off names of those he was going to have to lay off by the end of the week. Among those on the list? His own.
It was going to be an awkward meeting when he called his boss in here, knowing he'd have to fire her in his body. He also knew she'd probably be angry and accuse him of being responsible for swapping bodies in the first place. He actually didn't know how or why they swapped, but he was beginning to be more and more glad they did!

Forever
Todd looked directly into Stephanie's eyes, repeating the word "Forever." Stephanie shook her head, insisting there must be some way to reverse the body swapping spell. She didn't want to be stuck in Todd's body, and she certainly didn't want him in her body any minute longer. She wasn't going to take his answer as definitive. There was no way this swap was forever and irreversible. There had to be a way; she just had to find it.

Ew!
It took Kevin only a moment after the Great Shift for him to realize whose body he had, and it took him only a minute more to be completely disgusted by it. He was now in Abagail's body, the stuck up commuter student that he had a few classes with at college. He wished he could just wipe her body off him. He didn't want to be her; he didn't want to be a woman at all. He didn't want to think about having to wear a bra or what was now between his legs. He was just completely grossed out by it.

Running
"I'm glad you stopped sulking in the room and came out with me for a run instead," Margaret told her husband Fred.
"Okay, so maybe being a woman isn't so bad." Fred admitted, "At least being this woman isn't so bad. We've been jogging for a while now, and I don't feel tired or even winded at all."
"Well, I'm glad you're finally enjoying yourself, and I hope you get used to it. After all, these are our bodies for the next two weeks. There's no way to leave Exchange Island early."
"Oh, I think I can used to it..."

Kick Ass
Lawrence was pretty sure Maria would never see it coming. After all, when she first stole his body, he had been so afraid, so scared. He was just shocked to be in her body that he let her call the shots and intimidate him. But over the months, he had gotten used to her body; he developed confidence; and he trained. In fact, Lawrence was sure that if he ever saw Maria again, he would kick her ass...even if she did technically have his ass. He didn't even care if she swapped back or not after that, even the beat down itself would feel like sufficient revenge.
