Still Not Used to It

Three weeks into his visit to Exchange Island, Mason still couldn't say he was used to this body or its clothes. Not that he had any objections; he was insanely happy about the body he ended up in. He was just always a little worried about parts slipping out in an inappropriate manner or just feeling like something needed to be adjusted slightly differently. Despite his discomfort, he'd be sad to be giving it back to its original owner in another week when his vacation ended.

Great

Jackson knew he should have been concerned with the fact that he had switches bodies with someone (a woman, no less!), but he was way more fascinated by the fact that despite frigid temperatures, he didn't feel cold. In fact, even though he had a lot of exposed skin and very little clothing on, he actually felt good. In fact, he felt better than good, he felt great.

Get Used to It

"Turn around," Kelly demanded, "Let me see how you did today."

James spun obediently. He was getting used to this each time he came into work.

"Not bad. Not bad at all." Kelly continued, "You're getting better at this."

"I just want us all to swap back to our own bodies, so I don't have to do this every day." James finally chimed in.

"Swap back? Haven't you been watching the news? They don't think there's going to be a way to reverse this whole Great Shift thing. That means you're going to be stuck in my body, and you'll have to continue to listen to my daily updates to make sure you continue to make me look good...or at least passable. And I will likely stay in our boss's body, Ms. Davins. And remember, until the real Ms. Davins shows up, the board felt it best if I keep up appearances and continue her roll. We don't want panic in the market, after all. So please keep in mind that I am also your boss. Now, run along, get me my coffee."

Bikini

It wasn't anything to feel bad about, was it? Almost immediately after switching bodies with Amy, Richard had quickly gone inside to change into a bikini. He thought he'd feel sexy, but instead he just felt guilty. He had even changed as quickly as possible to avoid seeing her without clothes for too long. But as he sat there in the bikini, he felt really exposed. And, even worse, he felt like he was exposing Amy without her permission. He dawdled for a bit, thinking he should apologize to her. Okay, maybe one lap around the pool, then he'd go apologize.

All Day

Marilyn didn't ask Steve what his plans were for the day. She didn't really care; her only demands were to "not get in trouble." Of course, Steve had no intention of getting into trouble, or even leaving the house. No, it wasn't every day he had the opportunity to swap bodies with a woman. So for the day he'd be spending in Marilyn's body, he'd be staying at home. He didn't see any reason to leave. He could just sit here and do this all day.

Smile

"Come on, James," Tara told him, "You could at least smile."

"I'm not exactly happy here." He replied.

"What's there to be down about? Most people would kill to be in a photoshoot like this."

"Most people aren't stuck in a woman's body."

"Not just any woman...a model, James! A model! Come on, that's something to smile about."

In one sense, Max was pretty proud of himself. He had perfected the ability to download a human brain into a robot just in time, before the disease ravaging his body would've killed him for good. In another sense, he felt pretty silly. The only spare android in his lab was one designed for certain fetishes. He was sure people were staring at him as he rode home on the train. He wished he could've changed into something...anything else. But the clothes that were on the robot were the only ones that would fit this frame. But at least he was alive inside this shell, and if he downloaded his conscious into this, surely he could do it again...maybe even back into another human body...

Commute

After using the spellbook to switch bodies with his wife last night, Paul had spent all night and this morning searching through the book for a way back. Now he was on the train heading into work. He was hoping to figure this out before he got there, he was woefully unprepared to do his wife's job. He hoped he didn't have to fake his way through the day. He had a bit more time; he was hopeful.

Longer

Exchange Island was always a bit of a gamble for a vacation. Arthur usually spent just a week at a time there. After all, when you got there, you basically got equal chances of being a bodybuilder or a grandma -- Arthur had been both in previous visits. This time he decided to bet big, and his vacation was a little longer. As he walked along the beach, he knew he made a great decision. This body was absolutely amazing, and he'd be able to enjoy it incredibly over the next three months.

Heavy Lifting

Ivan had always prided himself on his muscles. When the Great Shift swapped him into the body of a small woman more than half his size, he felt emasculated. But he had to admit that he was a little surprised the first time he visited the gym with this new body. Sure, the seventy pounds he lifted without difficulty was way less than what he was able to lift before, but it was a lot more than he expected to be able to lift. It wasn't a bad start for this new body...

Locker Room

It was weird enough for Evan. He had gone to the pool and somehow ended up swapping with another swimmer, a woman. They both tried not to panic. Instead, they had a side conversation by the side of the pool. They agreed to change in the locker rooms and meet back outside to discuss more after. She told him which locker her clothes were in as he headed inside the women's changing room. Inside, Evan was shocked. So many women were making out with each other. It wasn't long before a woman tongue kissed him and he was pulled into the action. It was hard to get any words out, but it seemed that all the women in the locker room were actually body swapped men. And, of course, Evan was enjoying himself in here, but he had promised this body's owner that he'd change and meet her outside. How long could he keep her waiting before she got suspicious?

What Women Do

"You know you're going to have to learn how to do this yourself, right?" Patricia complained.

"Why?" Tony asked.

"Because you need to wear makeup."

"But why do I need to wear makeup?"

"Because you're a woman now; more specifically, you're me, because of that whole Great Shift thing. And makeup makes me look good. Or, I guess, it makes you look good now. It's just what women do."

Pizza

"I can't believe Rose thought she could tell me how to live my life just because I have her body now," Luke thought, "Well, she can't hover over me all the time. If I want to eat a pizza, I'm going to eat a pizza. If I want to skip the gym, I'm going to skip the gym. Yeah, I get why she's concerned; she was always worried about her weight. But, honestly, she is so skinny; it won't hurt if her body gains a few pounds. It's my body now anyway..."

Breakup Plan

Craig didn't approve of his daughter's boyfriend one bit, but he knew a way to end it. He took an item out of storage then placed it around his neck. Next, he touched one of his daughter's shirts to it. The transformation happened soon after; he became an exact double of his daughter. He dialed up her boyfriend and waited. He hoped to break up over the phone, but he didn't answer. Craig smiled. He had twelve hours in his daughter's body; he had plenty of time to do this. He would break up her relationship.

Swap Back

Esther was telling Ronald all about how she had learned to adapt after the two had swapped bodies. He smiled, pretending like didn't enjoy being in her body. Then she dropped the bomb, explaining how she figured out how to get them to swap back. Ronald's smile quickly faded to a frown. He didn't want to swap back, but how could he say no after pretending to complain? He was going to lose this great body, and there was nothing he could do...
