Al was originally upset about the body he ended up in after the Great Shift. He was now a woman; he didn't want to be a woman! However, he soon discovered an upside to this new body; it was incredibly limber. He had been concerned about how weak a woman's body was, but after trying out some things, he was sure this new body of his could take someone down in a fight. In fact, all things considered, it was probably stronger than his old body. And he never would've guessed it just from looking at himself.
